Bajaj’s Pulsar 150 AS has been spotted recently as Bajaj is gearing up to launch a new variant of the Pulsar 150 in April. AS stands for Adventure Sport. The Pulsar 150 AS will have tall stance and will be a somewhat off-roader bike. This is the first bike from Bajaj in this segment.

Expect the bike’s engine to be tweaked for some more power, but this will continue to be carburetor and not fuel injection.

There was only the Hero Impulse, which was sold in this segment, now Bajaj will be the only bike-maker to have an AS in the 150cc segment. This bike will also with come mated to a five-speed manual transmission just like the Pulsar 150, which is currently being sold.

Even though this will be placed below the Pulsar 200 AS, it will still feature projector headlamp, illuminated switches, a petal-type disc brake, alloy wheels and ABS. This bike should be launched in the coming few weeks and one can expect Bajaj to upgrade the 150 also with 150 NS. Then there is also the Pulsar 200 AS that is pending for a launch.

Bajaj has announced to have six launches in six months and so far they have launched the Platina ES, CT 100 and Pulsar RS 200. The RS 200 is the new flagship bike for Bajaj and even the Pulsar brand. Expect Bajaj to even introduce the 400cc Pulsar, but some of our sources confirm that it might take a bit longer for the bigger engine bike to be launched in India.
