Nissan will showcase the NissanConnect EV Plus at the New York Motor Show on 1st of April. Nissan has just got this name patented and our sources even confirm that this is due to be showcased at the 2015 New York Motor Show.  NissanConnect combines navigation, entertainment and ways to stay in touch in a single dash-mounted system designed to reduce distractions. It helps make every drive effortless, points you where you need to go, and keeps you connected the whole way there. This system gets voice commands, touchscreen system to access your smartphone apps, phone contacts and even maps.

NissanConnect’s NISMO Plus service, using a PlayStation 3 console, PC or smartphone, will take Nissan GT-R NISMO performance from the track to the home, virtually at any time or place from this summer. All engine, braking and throttle performance on the circuit will come to life in an animated Gran Turismo 6 display, with more precise tracking than a conventional GPS data-logging system. All the data from the car are transferred to a smartphone, PC or PS3 console, with further analysis and replays of the drive possible.

NISMO President Shoichi Miyatani says the experience will offer GT-R NISMO drivers the same performance challenges of a pro driver, checking lap time speed as well as allowing practice at home.

Recently, Nissan had showcased the Leaf with glowing paint, which means it is even visible in the dark.

This paint has a radium-kind of mixture that absorbs sunlight and reflects it in the dark.
