Triumph has launched the Tiger XCx and Tiger XRx in India at Rs 13 lakhs and 14.7 lakhs (approximate on-road price New Delhi).

While the Tiger XR costs Rs 12 lakhs, after taxes in New Delhi. Both these bikes had made their debut at the EICMA in Milan, Italy.

These bikes are powered by the second-generation liquid-cooled, 12-valve, 800cc DOHC three-cylinder engine that develops 94bhp and 79Nm of peak torque. Triumph continues with its legacy of three-cylinder engines even on the toger XCx and Tiger XRx.

Off the two bikes, the Tiger XCx is an off-roader with 17-inch rear wheel, and the front being 21-inches. Then there is the fully adjustable WP suspension (which can be adjusted up to 20mm), a front mudguard and protective elements like sump guard and even protection for the radiator with a guard. This protects the radiator and other important engine components from stones and gravel when one goes off the road.

While the Tiger XRx has better road manners with its 19-inch front wheels and 17-inch at the rear. It gets 10mm lower seating position and it doesn’t get adjustable WP suspension like the XCx.

But both the bikes get three riding modes, auto-cancel indicators, hand guards, advanced trip computer, ride by wire technology ABS and traction control. These are the first bikes in its segment to get cruise control as well. Triumph will soon be adding two more dealership its to current Indian kitty of 10 fully operational dealerships.
