Honda HR-V is the new compact SUV that is smaller than the CR-V and it stands for Hi-Rider Revolutionary Vehicle. This compact SUV competes with Hyundai’s Creta that will soon be exported to multiple car markets from India.

We compare the two to find out which is a better one to pick of the two.

Honda HR-V vs Hyundai Creta design:

The Honda HR-V’s design inspiration is from the CR-V.  It has a similar looking front grille with a slender chrome strip. The headlamps have projector lamps and LEDs for daytime usage. The bonnet has two cuts running from the windshield to the front grille, giving it a nose formation. The round fog lamps are small and have an air dam too. From the side, the HR-V has a sloping roof and this makes the HR-V look sporty.

The rear too looks stylish on the HR-V and it melds well with the overall design. The Honda HR-V is based on the Jazz platform.

The Hyundai Creta or the ix25 has got the looks. This five-seater SUV gets a chunky front grille that is loaded with chrome and the headlamps look sharp. The daytime running LEDs are integrated into the headlamp and this looks a lot more aggressive than the HR-V. From the side again, the Hyundai Creta makes a stronger statement and it has a much better presence than the HR-V. Hyundai has done a fantastic job with the Creta’s styling and this SUV is certainly more handsome looking of the two. The Hyundai Creta is based on a platform that is developed as a hybrid of i20 and i30.
