The recently launched flagship motorcycle of Mahindra, the Mojo has been spied testing with ABS (anti-lock braking system). The test mule of the Mojo had a dual channel ABS which is will most likely be switchable and will have a button to turn on/off.

It has come to knowledge that Continental is supplying the ABS kit to Mahindra and is the same supplier to also cater to Honda for the CBR250R. The ABS version of the Mojo uses the same disc brakes, which are 320 mm in the front and the rear is  240 mm. The front caliper would continue to be a three-pot one and the rear will be a twin-pot., which are from J.Juan, a Spanish company. The ABS version is like to debut somewhere in mid 2016 and these are just initial tests going on.

The ABS version will most likely have a premium of about INR 30,000 over the existing bike. At the Mojo launch, Mahindra has indicated regarding an ABS version that will follow later. New RTO rules will make ABS mandatory for all two wheelers soon, hence Mahindra is keeping itself ready and also making its bike safer for customers.
