Toyota Corolla Altis facelift spotted

Toyota’s new-generation Corolla Altis has been doing well and now the company is planning to introduce the facelift version, of course first in other markets.

The Corolla Altis’ spy shots reveal that the titivated version of this sedan will look a lot more sporty and stylish. The Corolla Altis gets a new front-end with a lot lesser chrome and a more aggressive front-end. The chrome on the top continues even above the headlamp. The lower grille gets trapezoidal shape that makes it look a lot stylish. Theen there are the new alloy wheels and black side skirts too. The front fog lamps too are stylish and look sharper as Toyota seems to be moving away from the round ones for the Corolla Altis.

The tail lamps are clear and even the chrome strip is a lot thicker. This looks more like the sportier version of the Corolla Altis, than a facelift. The Toyota Corolla Altis is a mid-size sedan for the executives. Either Toyota is doing away with its previous image or the brand is looking at getting sporty variants for the younger audience. The spy shots that have surfaced does make the Corolla Altis look a lot more aggressive than before.

The X badge could indicate a new variant.

Mobile01 has snapped these images, however no interior shots have been found. The Corolla Altis is the highest selling sedan in its segment.

It accelerated ahead of the Elantra sales, after the launch of the new-generation sedan.
