Toyota has been working on a Honda City competition sedan. This will be based on the Etios platform. The design being derived from the Vios, this new sedan is being made only for emerging markets. Toyota Etios C sedan will be first launched in Brazil and later on it will be making an entry into India. This new sedan will be filling the gap between the Etios and the Corolla.

Toyota Etios C sedan Design

Toyota will be using a similar design language to that of the Vios, but on a different platform. The Etios platform is already made available in India and Brazil. So building a new car on that platform means lesser investment.

The Toyota brand is looking to do the same. This new sedan will be launched in Brazil and maybe in India as well.

Toyota had mentioned of a sedan between the Etios and Corolla Altis for India, and this could be the one.
