Why should one go for Hybrid?

Honda City RS

The Honda City RS India in its Hybrid version will be the most fuel-efficient City. It will surely solve the “Kitna Deti hai ?” problem. At the same time driving around an electric vehicle without the anxiety of charging is seen only in a Hybrid. The expected mileage is to be around 26 km/l which is far more than 18 km/l that’s seen on the regular Honda City.

Honda Rs hybrid

It will be quicker than the regular Honda City that we currently have. The hybrid car takes 9.9 seconds to do 0-100 km/h whereas the naturally aspirated car does it in 10.2 seconds. The top speed is lower at 173 km/h and the additional weight of the electric drive components are to be blamed.

Mild Hybrid?

Honda Rs hybrid Interiors

No, the car is a pure hybrid vehicle. It will surely offer more than just the SHVS system that we see on the Maruti Ciaz which is a head-on competitor to this car. Now the question of whether you can drive this car only on electric power is yet to be answered. These details will be revealed when the car will be announced for India. The Honda City RS Hybrid has been announced for the Malaysian Market.

We are expecting it to come to India soon but there is a hunch that to keep the pricing in check Honda will cut some corners. The Honda City RS India is expected to bear a price tag of Rs 15 lakhs. It surely will be more expensive than the topmost variant of the Honda City currently.
