2020 Mercedes Benz E Class teased officially
Mercedes – Benz has officially revealed the 2020 E- class facelift, but in camouflaged condition. Mercedes-Benz marketing team did reveal many of the features including the variants. 2020 Design
The new Mercedes Benz E Class will have a completely new front bumper. The new E-class LEDs will remind you of ongoing Mercedes CLS models and newer models of Mercedes line up in abroad markets. However, most of the Mercedes fanboys will miss the distinguishable two strip LED DRLs. The front grille is changed completely by reducing horizontal two grille design to the single grille. Hood is completely new with more muscular styling. The facelift will also have a new rear bumper and new tail lamps.
2020 Mercedes Benz E-class engine
Talking about the interior, it will have an updated upholstery and new steering wheel. The new steering wheel will have a touch-sensitive pad for toggling infotainment and instrument cluster. The engine will have 2.0-litre turbo petrol producing 272 hp and 3.0-litre inline-six petrol producing 362 hp and 500 Nm torque.
0-100 is expected to be around 5.0 seconds. The new E Class will have an option of AMG sports package and Exclusive package.
The exclusive model will be a premium model over other offerings more stylish wheels and interior tweaks. The new Mercedes Benz E Class will posses the air suspension system. This air suspension system will have an adjustable damping coefficient. Consequently one can enjoy different suspension setups for different ride qualities i.e soft suspension for comfort mode, stiffer suspension for sports mode and so.
More advanced technology and AI system will be limited to vastly developed nations. These advanced features include Traffic jam assists, lane change assist, active brake and steering assist. While entering Indian markets, Mercedes will launch a long wheel base version. Launching of the facelift E Class will be at the Q4 of 2020.
