Renault Duster facelift spotted

The facelift of Renault Duster was spied testing with camouflage near the Renault-Nissan plant in Chennai.

The test mule suggests that a launch is expected in the coming months i.e. early 2016. The New Duster may be even launched during the Auto Expo 2016.

The test mule which was spotted by Carwale.com, shows that the most striking change is a new set of the alloy wheels with a ten-spoke design. Exterior changes include a new headlamp with LED lights, new front grille and a new bumpers with scuff plates. The muscular look of the SUV remains and the Duster will also get new roof rails.

Interiors also shall be updated with a new seat fabric and a new touchscreen system with a brand new instrument cluster and several new additional features too. The interiors will have better fit and finish to take on recent competition from the Hyundai Creta.

The Duster will be powered by a 1.5-litre diesel engine that will produce 83bhp and 108bhp and shall be coming with an automatic also, as per the rumours. The Duster was the first SUV and is the only one to be offered with an all-wheel drive(AWD) variant also.
