Looks-
The sharper-looking XUV 3XO is expected to receive subtle yet noticeable cosmetic revisions rather than a complete redesign. Some design elements could be shared from the earlier launch, 7XO. While the overall silhouette of the XUV 3XO will remain identical. With the update, we can expect a refreshed front grille and revisions made to the LED lighting setup. To the rear, we can expect no change as the connect tail lamp already gives the SUV a modern-looking rear end. Overall. Mahindra would be looking to sharpen the existing design with a few tweaks while retaining the compact SUV’s popular silhouette. What are the class-leading features?
Interiors & Features-

Inside the cabin, Mahindra XUV 3XO currently offers one of the best experiences in the segment. The 3XO facelift is expected to introduce additional colour themes for the interiors, with the light-coloured interiors in mind, as they are pretty hard to maintain. Even with the update, the 3XO is expected to come equipped with a 10.25-inch dual-screen setup, a panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climate control, a 7-speaker sound system, and wireless charging. For added driver assistance, the 3XO will continue to offer a 360-degree camera and Level-2 ADAS.

On the safety front, the current generation of the Mahindra XUV 3XO has secured a 5-star safety rating at the Bharat NCAP. With an impressive 29.36 out of 32 points for Adult Occupant Protection and 43 out of 49 points for Child Occupant Protection. And this would remain more or less the same with the facelift.
Powertrain-
Under the hood, Mahindra 3XO is really going to be interesting. The current genration features the performance-packed 1.2-litre Turbo petrol TGDi (129bhp & 230Nm), another entry-level 1.2-litre turbo petrol (110bhp & 200Nm) and the torque 1.5-litre diesel (115bhp & 300Nm). Along with the engine option, you can choose from a 6-speed manual, a 6-speed TC Automatic, and a 6-speed AMT gearbox. But what is interesting is that there are discussions suggesting Mahindra could introduce a hybrid variant with the next update to the 3XO. Mahindra is expected to develop a hybrid powertrain alongside the 1.2-litre engine for the compact SUV like the 3XO. What else?
Rivals-

As discussed earlier, the major rival to the Mahindra XUV 3XO Facelift would be the Tata Nexon. Which offers a variety of powertrain options, including CNG. The other rivals to the XUV 3XON facelift would be the Kia Sonet, Hyundai Venue, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, Renault Kiger, Nissan Magnite, and Skoda Kylaq. Given that Mahindra has some segment-leading features and advanced powertrains. It will be interesting to see how it manages its powertrain options to comply with new fuel standards in the near future. Also, how will they keep up with the new-age compact SUVs? What do you think?
