Maruti Suzuki Swift Facelift-

And this could go even further with the upcoming Swift facelift. Given Maruti Suzuki’s trend of updating its cars in the Indian market, this upcoming facelift won’t be just a cosmetic refresh; we expect something unique from the brand. Looks-

On the outside, Maruti is expected to retain the looks, but with some revisions. Revisions could include a new front grille, updated LED headlights and sleeker DRLs. Also, some minor sporty tweaks to the bumpers. The tailamp could also feature some refreshed elements. Also, the new Swift facelift is expected to come with a new set of alloy wheels. What else?
Interiors & Features-

Inside the cabin, the Swift facelift could feature a larger infotainment system, and the LCD unit in the instrument cluster could also get better. For added convenience, Swift will continue to offer features such as automatic climate control, heads-up display, cruise control, and much more. Also, some missing features, such as a 360-degree camera, TPMS, auto-dimming IRVM, and more, could be offered in the upcoming Swift facelift. Powertrain-

In the latest update, Maruti started offering the 3-cylinder engine, replacing the 4-cylinder unit. This 1.2-litre petrol engine (80bhp & 111.7Nm) was great for fuel efficiency, but refinement went for a toss. With the upcoming Swift facelift, the automaker is expected to take the efficacy even further! No, we are not talking about a bigger or better CNG technology. The widely discussed series-hybrid technology could also be introduced with the Swift facelift. This hybrid powertrain could deliver mileage above 30 kmpl. Also, there is a chance that Maruti Suzuki could introduce underbody CNG technology in the new Swift.
Rivals-
Direct rivals to the Swift facelift will be the Hyundai i10 Nios and Tata Tiago. But from the sales perspective, another hatchback from the same brand is the major rival. Yes, we are talking about the Baleno. Other rivals remain the Tata Altroz and the Hyundai i20.
Expected Launch & Pricing-

Having heard about all the possible offerings with the new Swift facelift, you can expect it to arrive by early 2027. The ongoing Swift is priced between Rs 6.82 lakh and Rs 10.25 lakh (on-road, Mumbai), and the updated non-hybrid Swift is expected to get a price hike of about Rs 10,000 to 20,000. However, with the expensive hybrid technology, the Swift Hybrid could be priced between Rs 8 lakh and 12 lakh (on-road Mumbai).
