Bad News! Are you waiting for the new-generation Nissan Micra to come to India? Then there is some disappointment as our sources confirm that next year there is a Micra coming to India, but unfortunately it is a facelift. The current Micra is based on the V-platform while the new-generation is on the CMF-B. For India, we won’t be getting the CMF-B anytime soon. But, Nissan will be getting the facelift version of the Micra once again next year. More on the 2017 Nissan Micra for India.

The changes will be new-styling headlamps, new front grille, tail lamps and even rear bumper. The Micra will see an upgrade in styling and the facelift will resemble the new-generation Micra, especially the design language. The interiors too will be revived on the Micra. Nissan is looking at capturing a 10 percent market share and will be introducing a lot more products in the near future. At the moment, the company is struggling with the Nissan products. The Micraand the Terrano are the highest selling ones, however they are much below the 1000 mark. It is majorly the Datsun brand that has a higher volume than Nissan.

With the Datsun Redi Go coming next month, it will contribute to the sales of the brand. However, we do not expect a major uphill in the sales number of the Nissan. The Datsun will see a boost in its sales numbers.
