2017 Bajaj Pulsar 220F gets new decals

Bajaj Pulsar 220F now gets another upgrade. This is in the form of new decals. The bike has earned quite a lot of respect amongst users. One of the most powerful bikes in its category, the Pulsar 220F had got some upgrades in the 2017 version. This time there is another small update, which are new silver coloured graphics on the bike.

2017 Bajaj Pulsar 220F Design
The 2017 Bajaj Pulsar 220F gets an update in its styling, while the basic design remains the same. There are new graphics in place now. The color scheme is now a single tone one instead of dual tone. The bikini fairing and the headlamp remain the same. The mirrors also are carried over from the earlier model. The fuel tank, side panels and the tail are also unchanged. The instrument cluster now gets blue backlighting. The seat cushion now seems better than before. The new Bajaj Pulsar 220F doesn’t get too many changes in styling, however it looks a lot more attractive with the new colour and graphics theme.
The alloys are also the same on the 2017 Bajaj Pulsar 220F. However, they now have colour coded taping on them. The 2017 Bajaj Pulsar 220F uses the same twin rear suspension. The ride and handling of the bike is decent and remains untouched. The 2017 Bajaj Pulsar 220F is an easy to ride bike in the city and highway as well. ABS is still not available on this bike, though we thought it would be. This will come once the new safety norms come in to being.

2017 Bajaj Pulsar 220F Engine
The 2017 Bajaj Pulsar 220F has the same 220cc engine, what we have seen in the earlier model. However, it gets some tweaks to meet the emission norms in 2017. This is a BS-IV compliant engine. The engine produces a maximum power of 22bhp and a torque of 20Nm. It continues to have a carburetor. The Pulsar 220 has been one of the fastest bikes in its category and it will continue to have these traits. The engine has been refined for better performance and even efficiency. Bajaj has worked on this engine to make it smoother.

The Bajaj Pulsar 220F was one of the better handling bikes always. It continues to be so. The seating position is not aggressive and is focussed more on everyday riding, rather than only enthusiastic ones. The Pulsar 200F has been designed to be a very affordable performance motorcycle and it certainly does love upto that image. The suspension is tuned well and adapts perfectly to our road conditions.
