The key of the Hyundai Verna Turbo comes with lock, unlock, boot open and horn function. The boot also opens automatically after 5 seconds if you stand in front of it with the key. There are a lot of sporty elements throughout the car. The overall design of the sedan is quite sleek and unique.
The sedan also looks much more premium compared to the other cars in the competition. The alloy wheel design is also pretty impressive. White lights and projector fog lamps help the car stand out. The light spread could have been better for nighttime driving. 165mm of unladen ground clearance is also pretty good. The paint quality is decent however the door thud noise could have been better.
Interior and Features
The sporty looks of the exteriors are carried forward to the interiors of the car. Red colour accents in the turbo variant add a unique sporty touch to the interiors of the sedan. The interior build quality though not the best, but is impressive enough. You have enough soft-touch points throughout the car. Flat bottom steering wheel if made available could have further elevated the overall style.
Steering mounted controls with the car is also available. Both tilt and telescopic steering adjustment are available. The touchscreen infotainment system comes with all modern connectivity features and also Hyundai’s Bluelink connectivity. The reverse parking camera quality could have been made better.
Engine and Performance
The BS6 era is here to stay and Hyundai knows it well. All the three engines, 1.5-litre MPI petrol engine, 1.5-litre U2 CRDi diesel engine and 1.0-litre Kappa Turbo GDi petrol engine are all BS6 compliant. Hyundai is also providing up to 5 years of warranty and 3 years of guaranteed road-side-assistance.
