The premium hatchback segment has seen many new competitors in the present time. But nothing comes close to the Tata Altroz in terms of safety and build quality. The Hyundai i20 was the creator of the this segment and the car which made this segment popular, but the overpriced new i20 is not for everyone. Find below about Tata Altroz Asli Test in India 2020.

More about the exteriors

The Tata Altroz comes with a key with four buttons, lock, unlock, boot hold and light function. The exterior styling of the car is heavily inspired by the Impact 2.0 design with strong straight lines which makes the car look bold and aggressive. The unique styling of the car will definitely turn heads on the road. The side profile of the car unlike the other cars in its segment looks quite good and polished. Ground clearance of 165mm is more than enough for a car of its size and segment. The paint quality on the Tata Altroz is also pretty decent and we did not have any complaints there either.

More about the interiors

The interior look of the car has the right combination of simplicity and complexity in it. Flat bottom steering wheel with steering mounted controls is a great addition. The overall build quality and door thud noise is also pretty good compared to the competition. The dynamic reverse parking camera is also pretty decent with slight improvements necessary during night time.  The Harman audio system of the car is also the best for its price and provides you with an overall satisfying music experience. There are also enough storage and charging points in the interiors of the car.

The cooled and illuminated glove box in this car is the best and largest in its segment. The seat comfort is also pretty much the best in the segment. Three passengers can also sit pretty easily in the rear seats of the car. 90-degree opening doors promise easy ingress and egress of the car. Rear AC vents also do their job well and provide sufficient cooling. 345 litres of boot space can easily provide space to big, medium and small-sized suitcases. Some space is still left for small bags to be carried. Intelligent Start/Stop function with the petrol variant is also a unique feature with the car.

First Time case – November 2020
Car on ignition starts showing Oil, Engine and Battery signal on Dashboard.
Car will not start and you need to call Tata RSA
Tata arranged a mechanic and a toweing vehicle to tow my car in 2 hours
As soon as crane arrived, mechanic was able to start the car and drive it as normal

Second Time Case – Feb 2021
Same issue, car dashboard shows oil, battery and Dashboard signal
    Car unable to start
Tata arranged a towing vehicle and took it to service center
When it reached Service center, Tata service men was able to start the car normally and drive it in
