Honda BRV Interior
The interior of this new SUV are identical to the new Amaze. The Honda BRV has the same dashboard as the Amaze. It is an all black interior that has a simple layout. The steering wheel is straight out from the Honda City. The instrument cluster has also been inspired from the Honda City itself. The centre console has the AC vents, a 2 DIN mucis system with bluetooth, USB and aux connectivity. There is no touchscreen system or reverse parking camera or sensors either. The Honda BRV has keyless entry and even push start and stop.
Where the BRV excels is space. The front two rows have ample of space for tall people as well. However, the third row has decent amount of space. With all the three rows raised, there isn’t much space in the boot.
Honda BRV Engine and Performance
The BRV excels when it comes to its engine and performance . The 1.5-litre petrol and 1.5-litre diesel have good power at most of the engine speeds. One doesn’t need to shift gears frequently as there is seamless delivery of power. The petrol even comes with an automatic option (CVT). Hence, it is a good option to consider. There is good enough torque to pull the engine cleanly. It doesn’t feel as torquey as a diesel though. The manual transmission on both are six-speed. The petrol engine is highly refined, however, it is the diesel that is a bit noisy.
The petrol also gets a CVT option, else both come with a six-speed manual transmission. What is good about the BRV engines is that they have good performance without much of a compromise on fuel efficiency. The BRV has powerful and good mileage engines. The petrol is highly refined and feels more powerful than the competition.
