Bajaj Pulsar AS200, an adventure sports bike that the company has introduced. With the new range of Pulsar bikes coming in, the AS is a new series that has been introduced. this is made available on the 150cc and the 200cc. So now the Pulsar 200 has NS, RS and even AS. What does the new Bajaj Pulsar AS200 have on offer? We share our detailed review on this new bike. Bajaj had invited us to Lavasa to ride this new motorcycle. Bajaj Pulsar AS200 Price

BAjaj Pulsar AS200 has been priced aggressively. This bike is priced at INR 1.1 lakhs (on-road, New Delhi). This is great pricing for a bike of this size and power.

Bajaj Pulsar AS200 Design

The Bajaj Pulsar AS200 is termed as Adventure Sports and 200 stands for 200cc. It gets an upright stance and the headlamp has projectors. The front end looks sharp and this somewhat resembles the headlight. The indicators are mounted on the fairing.

Mirrors are mounted on the handlebars. The bike has a ground clearance of 167mm. The bike appears to be tall and good enough for riding on bad roads.

The Pulsar AS200 has front and rear disc brakes. The tyres on the bike are grippy and offer a supple ride too. The Pulsar AS200 will get ABS as all the bikes above 125cc will need to have it as a mandate. It doesn’t look like an off road, but more of a tourer. Where the bike stands out is its height and even the ground clearance. The instrument cluster has orange backlight is part digital, part analog. The quality has been an improvement as the bike looks appealing.

Bajaj Pulsar AS200 Engine

The Pulsar AS200 shall have the same engine as the 200NS. So, this means that the new Pulsar AS200 will have a carburettor that help to produce 24bhp of power and 18.5Nm of maximum torque. This engine will continue to be liquid cooled. The power produced by this engine will be more than sufficient. There is more than sufficient power in this engine. The AS200 has been tuned for better torque to ride on a rough or broken road with ease. This isn’t an off roader bike but more of a tourer and riding on broken tarmax surfaces.

Bajaj Pulsar AS200 Mileage

Bajaj Pulsar AS200 has been designed to give out better fuel efficiency without any compromise on performance. We expect the bike to return about 40-45 km/l on the highway and about 35 km/l in the city.

Bajaj Pulsar AS200 Colours

This new bike will be made available in Blue, Red and Black colour options. There may also be a new colour introduced this time, which will be more suited to an adventure bike.
