Renault Kwid AMT vs Maruti Celerio AMT Design
In terms of styling, the Kwid stands out as compared to the Celerio. It looks more modern and has an SUV inspired styling which people love.The Renault Kwid AMT does not have any difference when compared to the regular 1.0-litre version in terms of look. The front, side profile, is the same difference. The rear sees an Easy R badging which differentiates it from the manual version.

The mirrors on the Kwid 1.0 had changed and the same ones come on the AMT too. The Celerio AMT also looks identical to its manual version but has a Auto Gear Shift badging at the rear.

Renault Kwid AMT vs Maruti Celerio AMT Interiors
The interiors of both cars are good. The Kwid AMT has dark grey interiors. The steering wheel has good grip and feels nice to hold. The instrument cluster is digital and there is a touchscreen system with navigation and bluetooth connectivity, which is a first and only feature in the segment. The Celerio has pleasing interiors which are brown and beige in colour.

However i terms of boot space, its the Kwid AMT which scores higher with a larger boot of 300 litres as compared to 235 litres of the Celerio AMT.
The biggest different between the two cars is that the Celerio gets a traditional stick shift while the Kwid has a rotary dial on the dashboard. This makes for additional storage space on the floor console, where the gear lever is generally situated.

The Renault Kwid AMT has 1.0- litre, 3-cylinder engine. This mill churns about 67bhp of power, which is more than sufficient for its size. The engine is peppy and it doesn’t seem to run out of juice be it in the city or even on the highway.

The Celerio has a 1.0-litre 4-cylinder engine
that generates 67bhp of power. Both cars offer peppy performance. The AMT of the Celerio has a manual mode as well, which is missing in the Kwid. The Kwid on the other hand is less jerky to drive as compared to the Celerio.

The Renault Kwid AMT will return around 17km/l in real world driving conditions. The ARAI figure for the same is 23.01km/l. The Celerio AMT returns around 16km/l in real conditions and the ARAI claimed mileage is 23.1km/l. The real world mileage is in a mix of city and highway driving.
