The XV Diesel variant here is Mr Amit’s car and was purchased in 5th of May 2019.  The car has an odometer reading of 18,000kms in about one year. Mr Amit is a car-enthusiast and has experience with a large number of cars.  Find below about Nissan Kicks Owner review BS6 in 2020.

Overall experience

Advantages

The owner loved the unconventional looks of the car. There are few Nissan Kicks in the market and help the owner stand out.  The owner also appreciated the drivability of the car. Power was always sufficient for the user of the SUV. The on-road price of the SUV with for owner was Rs.16, 3000(On-road)

Disadvantages

The owner faced many disadvantages with the SUV, more than the advantages. After the third day of purchase, the owner realized unsatisfactory NVH levels during a road trip to Shirdi.  The owner was troubled with the rattling noises in the SUV from different points.  The owner mainly faced 5 major problems with a brand new car. Nissan dealerships tried to solve the problem but could not solve it.

Higher authorities of Nissan replaced 7-8 parts in the new car including gear console base, glove-box door, rear door lock, and fuel lid door. The owner was fully dissatisfied with the fit and finish, and quality of materials.  The owner sadly believes that this vehicle is a badly selected vehicle for him.

Alternatives

The owner’s relatives also have Jeep Compass and Kia Seltos. The owner is very happy with both the above-mentioned products.  The Nissan Kicks is nowhere near the competiton. The owner clearly mentions that he is fully unhappy with the product and considers Nissan Kicks a waste of hard-earned money.

Conclusion

Sales figures of Nissan Kicks are also very low overall. Nissan Service centres are also closing down. The owner initially was against the Creta being a very common product, but has realized its popularity due to its benefits.  The owner is saved by the in-city traffic mileage of 14kmpl and 16.6kmpl on Highways.  The owner is happy with the fuel efficiency for the car.
