Hyundai will be launching several products across various segments in this year. First is the Creta facelift, scheduled this month and after that, one of the most awaited launches will be the new Santro. After catering to these two segments, Hyundai will focus on the entry level segment. The Hyundai Eon has been selling decent numbers but has come under pressure from competition, lately. The New Hyundai Eon 2019 will be a facelift. It will continue to be built on the same platform. However, there will changes in its design. The new Eon will be made on the Fluidic 2.0 design language. It will look appealing and different from the present Eon.  A new Sports Edition of the Eon was launched in 2017. It had side body moulding and roof rails. There will not be any major change in the pricing of the new Hyundai Eon 2019. This time Hyundai will price it more aggressively, although adding new features in it. The introduction of AMT will add more value to the portfolio.

New Hyundai Eon 2019 Launch Date

The New Eon will be launch sometime in mid 2019. The company would be done with the launches in 2018 and the Eon would be the first launch next year.

New Hyundai Eon 2019 Specifications

The new Hyundai Eon will get a 800cc engine and a 1.0-litre engine as well. These engines will come mated to a five-speed manual transmission. There will be no change in the powertrains. However, this time, Hyundai may get an AMT in the Eon. Competitors like Maruti, Renault and Datsun are offering AMT in their models and Hyundai is the only on left behind. Alo the popularity of AMTs is growing in India. The engines will also be tuned for better performance and improved driveability. The Hyundai Eon 2019 will not see any addition of new engines, except for the addition of AMT.

The 800cc engine produces 55bhp of power and 76Nm of torque. The 1.0-litre engine churns out 68bhp of power and 94Nm of peak torque. The petrol engine presently has some amounts of vibrations, which can be felt on the gear lever as well. These issues will be resolved in the new Eon.

The new Eon is expected to return around 14 km/l in the city and 20km/l on the highway. These are in real driving conditions. The rule efficiency is expected to be better than before.

In terms of exterior design, the new Hyundai Eon 2019 will look stylish and attractive It will be based on the Fluidic 2.0 architecture. The headlamps and front grille will be revised and will now look more a part of the family.  The side and rear will not get many changes, though. There will be a newly design alloy wheels and hub caps. From the side, the Eon looks like a small car, however it will be tall also.
