2018 Ducati Monster 821 launched at ₹ 9.51 lakhs

The all new 2018 Ducati Monster 821 has been launched in India. It comes at an introductory price of Rs.9.51 lakhs (ex-showroom). The 2018 Ducati Monster 821 is a naked sport bike which pays homage to the original Monster 900. The Monster 821 gets many features from the bigger Monster 1200. This is a stylish bike with loads of performance.

The bike is priced at ₹ 9.51 lakhs, ex-showroom. The ex-showroom price is same all over the country. The bike comes in as a CBU (Completely Built Unit).

2018 Ducati Monster Design

The all new 2018 Ducati Monster 821 comes across a more streamlined design, It features a fully redesigned tank and an iconic headlamp that looks very attractive, while the tail section is also new. The Monster 821 gets an all-new exhaust as well. A new colour TFT display makes its way to the Monster 821. This also has a gear position indicator, apart from fuel level indicator. It is available in Ducati Red and Black colour options.

2018 Ducati Monster Specifications

The engine is a Euro 4 compliant, liquid-cooled Testastretta 11° engine. It delivers a maximum power of 109bhp at 9250 rpm and has a strong torque curve. Thanks with 86 Nm of peak torque at 7750 rpm. The Monster 821 is a fun to ride machine and offers a powerful performance.

2018 Ducati Monster Features

The 2018 Ducati Monster 821 comes with a Ducati Safety Pack, which comprises of Bosch 9.1MP ABS system and Ducati Traction Control, both of which have adjustable intervention levels.There are 3 power modes available in the bike – Sport Touring and Urban. Riders can select their favourite mode and also experience three different bikes in one. Riding Modes allow easy adjustment of ABS, Ducati Traction Control and Power Modes.

The bike features Brembo brakes, with dual 320 mm discs and M4-32 monobloc radial calipers up front. A new refined suspension system includes a 43mm fork at the front and a rear monoshock with spring preload adjustment. The new Monster 821 comes shod with a Pirelli Diablo Rosso III 120/70 tyre on the front and 180/55 on the rear. There is a quick shifter also available with the 2018 Ducati Monster 821 . This makes it possible to change gears without the use of the clutch.

The bookings for the new Monster 821 are now open and deliveries will start by the first week of June across all Ducati dealerships in Delhi – NCR, Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Kochi & Kolkata.
