2018 Suzuki Gixxer ABS version launched at ₹ 96,000 (on-road)

The 2018 Suzuki Gixxer ABS version has been launched at ₹ 96,000 (on-road, Delhi). We had earlier revealed that this bike will be launched by May end. The Gixxer is now an even better bike to buy. Suzuki has upgraded many of their products lately, apart form introducing new ones. The Gixxer and Gixxer SF range have been receiving regular updates. Last year the Gixxer SF was introduced with rear disc brake as well as ABS. Now the company has launched the 2018 Suzuki Gixxer ABS, which is good news for buyers

The Suzuki Gixxer range of bikes are regarded as bikes with a perfect blend of style, rideability, performance, fuel efficiency and ease of maintenance. The Gixxer is one of the best motorcycles in the country when you consider it as a complete package. The Gixxer also has a dedicated fan following in the country.

2018 Suzuki Gixxer ABS Price

While the bike sees an introduction of ABS, the price will certainly be higher. The price increase is in the range of ₹ 3500 approximately. Hence the bike costs this much. Customers would not mind paying a little extra for ABS and this version will be the highest selling one for sure.

2018 Suzuki Gixxer ABS Changes

The Suzuki Gixxer ABS will be identical to the earlier bike. There will not be any change in the bike except for the addition of ABS. This is a single channel ABS and will operate only on the front brake. The rear brake will no support ABS. The bike has a 155cc engine that churns out 14bhp of power and it has a torque of 14Nm. This bike will continue to have a carburetor. It will not get fuel injection. This comes is paired to a five-speed transmission.

The design of the bike will be the same and there will be no changes to it. A new ABS sticker will be seen on the front mudguard. No new colour scheme will be seen on this bike. Apart form these, there won’t be any other change on the Gixxer ABS. It will be priced higher as well.

2018 Suzuki Gixxer ABS Mileage

The Suzuki Gixxer ABS will not get fuel injection. The mileage will be same as the non ABS bike. While the mileage in the city will be around 40 km/l, on the highway it will return around 50km/l. These mileage figures are in real riding conditions and may vary from rider to rider.

2018 Suzuki Gixxer ABS Specifications

The engine of the Suzuki Gixxer will remain the same and there will no change absolutely. The ABS version will be available without much drama on the bike. This is a 155cc single-cylinder engine and produces 14bhp of power and 14Nm of peak torque. This engine comes mated to a five-speed transmission. The bike also gets a kick starter along with electric start.
