Virat Kohli is the proud first owner of the Audi RS5 Coupe, in India. The Audi RS5 has been launched at Rs.

1.10 crore (ex-showroom). This is essentially based on the A5 sedan and is more powerful. As the brand ambassador of Audi, Virat Kohli got the privilege of the first keys to the Audi RS5.

The Audi RS5 Coupe is in its  second generation and comes with a strong reputation internationally. The car comes to India as a CBU (Completely Built Unit). There are limited number of cars that shall be arriving into the country. The all-new Audi RS5 Coupe is built on a new platform and thus makes the car slightly bigger than its predecessor.

The car comes with better performance as the new platform is lighter. The reduced weight translates into better performance. Further reduction in weight by 60 kgs  is possible by opting for a carbon fibre roof, which is also available. This new Audi RS5 Coupe has an aggressive styling. It gets new bumpers, Matrix LED headlamps,  a new larger front grille, large air intakes and 19-inch wheels as standard fitment.

The Audi RS5 has stylish interiors as well. There is a flat-bottom steering wheel, Alcantara leather upholstery, aluminium pedals and the Audi Virtual cockpit system with an updated MMI.

The car is  powered by a 2.9-litre turbocharged petrol engine. This replaces the V8 engine from the previous generation car.

The new engine churns out a power of 444bhp and has 600Nm of peak torque. This new-generation RS5 reaches 0-100 km/h in 3.9 seconds. It has an electronically restricted top speed of 250 km/h. Audi also offers a Dynamic Package with the RS5 that increases the top speed 280 km/h.

Virat Kohli also is the owner of the RS6. The other Audi cars he owns include the A8 L, R8 V10 and the Q7. Apart from Audi, his garage boasts of a Bentley Continental GT and a Range Rover Vogue.
