Hyundai Tucson 2019 unveiled

Hyundai has so far been successful only one SUV in India that is the Creta. The Tucson was launched with lot of hopes, but somehow has not taken off as expected. The case is similar with the Santa Fe. This time Hyundai has unveiled the 2019 edition of the Tucson. The Hyundai Tucson 2019 SUV gets many upgrades. It has been unveiled at the 2018 New York auto show. The SUV now gets more powerful engines and driver assist features. The Hyundai Tucson 2019 features a new cascading grille supported by restyled headlamps. The Tucson 2019 has a front fascia that has been updated. There are new fog lamps and the rear gets revised  taillamps. It gets option of 17, 18, and also 19-inch alloy wheels. What more does the new Hyundai Tucson 2019 get? Hyundai Tucson 2019 India Launch

The Hyundai Tucson 2019 will be launched by late 2019 or early 2020 in India. This is when the Tucson will complete three years of its lifecycle as the new generation. The facelift will be launched then. The Tucson 2019 will have to compete with more players including the Jeep Compass Trailhawk and the Ford Kuga.

Hyundai Tucson 2019 Price in India 

The price of the Tucson 2019 will not change much, There will be a marginal increase in prices due to the inclusion of the updates. Hyundai would want to keep the pricing competitive and grab a larger market share than what it currently enjoys.

Hyundai Tucson 2019 Design

The Hyundai Tucson 2019 wil get a new grille with a cascading effect. The headlamps are also redesigned and look more premium than the current one. There are LED DRLs are embedded within.

The entire front fascia has been updated and now looks more premium. The fog lamos are also new and so are the  taillamps. It gets an option of 17, 18, and also 19-inch alloy wheels in the US, However, in India, it will get 18-inch wheels. The Tucson is a good looking SUV. It is suave and pretty upmarket. With the new updates, it certainly looks better and more premium.

Hyundai Tucson 2019 Interior 

The interior of the Hyundai Tucson 2019 also gets a major update. The SUv now gets a floating touchscreen , which is identical to the Hyundai Kona, and the new Santa Fe. The instrument cluster is still conventional and features two analog dials and a small driver info display in between. The layout of the buttons in the centre have been changed.  There is also an electronic parking brake which is standard on all models.

The Tucson 2019  get new air vents and also gets new leather upholstery.

Hyundai Tucson 2019 Specifications

The New Hyundai Tucson 2019 will feature a 2.0-liter petrol engine with 164bhp of power. There is also a new 2.4-liter I-4 engine that will pump out 181bhp of power. The India spec version will get the same 2.0-litre CRDi diesel engine as before. This engine delivers a maximum power output of 183bhp and 400Nm of peak torque. It can achieve a top speed of 201 km/h. Both petrol and diesel engines will come mated to a six-speed manual and a six-speed automatic transmission. A 4×4 version also will be offered.  A six-speed automatic transmission will be the only gearbox available on the 2019 Tucson, as the seven-speed dual-clutch unit will no longer be offered.

Hyundai Tucson 2019 Features

The Hyundai Tucson 2019 will come get a 7.0-inch floating touchscreen. This will have Apple CarPlay and Android Aut. The SUV will also have forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, pedestrian detection, and lane keeping assist.

Available options include automatic high beams, adaptive cruise control, a multi-camera monitoring system, driver attention warning, wireless phone charging. The rear seat also has a USB port for fast charging, and it gets rain-sensing wipers with auto headlamps.
