TVS has launched the new generation Apache RTR 200 4V. Named as TVS Apache RTR 200 4V Race Edition 2.0, it comes with some new upgrades like a slipper clutch. It also gets a new colour theme and a short screen on the top of the bikini fairing. The price of the bike starts at INR 95,185 (ex-showroom). The bike surely looks very exciting with the new colour theme and is now a better product with the added features. Read further to know about it.

The TVS Apache RTR 200 4V Race Edition 2.0 starts at 95,185 and goes upto 108,985. The bike will be shortly made available across the country. However, the EFI and ABS version will be available only at select dealerships.
The TVS Apache RTR 200 4V Race Edition 2.0, is the first motorcycle in its class to be equipped with the advanced ‘A-RT Slipper Clutch’, a race-derived technology which is a testimony to the racing DNA of the RTR 200 4V engine. The ‘A-RT Slipper Clutch’ technology, accentuates the motorcycle’s performance, with 22% reduction in clutch force for quicker upshifts, enabling the rider to achieve better lap times.
The technology also aims at ensuring rider safety in highspeed downshifts, avoids wheel-hopping while cornering, and improves vehicle stability with the back-balance torque limiter effect. With exciting racing performance on offer, the introduction of the Slipper Clutch in TVS Apache RTR 200 4V Race Edition 2.0, also promises sharp and precise gear shifts with minimal effort.

This motorcycle continues to be powered by a 197.75cc single-cylinder motor which is mated to a 5-speed transmission. The engine develops 19.8bhp (Carb) / 20.5bhp (EFI) of power at 8500 RPM and 18.1 Nm of torque at 7000 RPM. The new range of TVS Apache RTR 200 Series will be enabled with the ‘Anti-Reverse Torque (A-RT) Slipper Clutch’ technology. The TVS Apache RTR 200 4V Race Edition 2.0 will be available in Carburetor, EFI as well as Carburetor with ABS variant.

The new gen Apache RTR 200 certainly looks appealing. The new black and red colour theme along with the new graphics design is very attractive and at the same time it looks mean as well. The attractive fly-screen at the front adds to the looks of the bike and seems like a thorough-bred racing machine. The body and instruments remain the same as the earlier bike. The black upswept exhaust looks good.
