Royal Enfield Himalayan Sleet launched at ₹ 2.12 lakhs (on-road)
Royal Enfield has a launched a new version of the Himalayan. This is called the Himalayan Sleet. The bike costs ₹ 2,12,666 (on-road, Chennai). This new motorcycle will sport a new colour and pattern, which are in shades of grey. RE says that it has been inspired from mountains. The Himalayan is a touring bike and to make it more attractive, the first 500 Royal Enfield Himalayan Sleet motorcycles will come pre-fitted with the Explorer Kit. This kit is an assortment of Royal Enfield Genuine Motorcycle Accessories, which helps it in being adventure ready. The introductory price includes the Explorer kit as well.
The Explorer kit in the Royal Enfield Himalayan Sleet comes with aluminium panniers, pannier mounting rails, aluminium handlebar with cross brace and large engine guard. The bike comes with a 2-year warranty. The bike can be booked online, which is available only for the first 500 bikes. Beginning January 12th till January 30th, enthusiasts can go online and register themselves, thereby expressing interest to purchase. The sale will go ‘live’ on January 30th2018, on a ‘first-come-first-serve’ basis.

Additionally, the first 500 owners will get pre-fitted Explorer Kits to help kick-start their personal expeditions on the Himalayan Sleet”

The Royal Enfield Himalayan Sleet is launched at ₹ 2.12 lakhs, on road Chennai. This price also includes the Explorer Kit which will be made available only for a select number of bikes on first come first serve basis. Customers can pre-book the bike online, on the company’s website by paying ₹ 5000.

The Royal Enfield Himalayan Sleet Explorer Kit will comprise of the following RE genuine accessories.
- 2 x 26 litres water resistant aluminium panniers,
- Off-road style aluminium handlebar with cross brace for added strength,
- Handlebar end weights for additional protection, and a
- Powder-coated finish engine guard.
The new Royal Enfield Himalayan Sleet Grey is suited for long rides and is comfortable as well. It boasts of a Long-travel suspension, natural upright riding position, dual purpose tyres combined with agile handling and a durable engine. It aims to offer a comfortable ride on the highway, city streets, or even remote mountain roads.
The bike is specially designed to take on all terrains.
