2018 Force Gurkha Facelift Spied

The Force Gurkha which has recently been upgraded, has been spied with some more changes. This will be the 2018 version and will be a minor facelift. The changes are not many, but it will get a new front fascia, which is not too different from the existing one. A new set of turn indicators will also be seen on it. The snorkel position has also changed. What else will the Force Gurkha Facelift get? Read further to know more.

2018 Force Gurkha Launch Date

The new Gurkha is expected to be launched in early 2018. This will be somewhere around the Auto Expo 2018. This SUV is likely to be showcased at the Auto Expo too.

2018 Force Gurkha Price

Variant Ex-showroom Price, Delhi
Explorer ₹9.37 lakhs
Expedition ₹10.67 lakhs

The Gurkha price starts at 9.37 lakhs, on-road, Delhi. It comes in two variants – Explorer (3 door) and Expedition (5 door).

2018 Force Gurkha Changes

The New Gurkha facelift will get an all new front grille. This grille will be a single piece that will cover the entire front fascia. The new grille will be wide enough to extend from the bonnet to the bumper.  The indicators which were earlier mounted on the side will be done away with. There will only be a set of indicators in the top. These also will be new ones with amber lamps in a plastic housing. The headlamps and their protective grille will be identical.

The side fenders will now get three slots for better air flow. Also, the snorkel has a change in its position. Earlier it was mounted on the top of the front portion. This time it will emerge from the side fender. So it also jets out a little more on the driver side. It will be black this time, instead of chrome. The bumpers remain the same and there is no other change in the vehicle. Overall the same design and styling will continue on the side and rear.

Interiors

There will not be any major change in the interiors. The seat fabrics will be new. The dashboard and instrument panel will also remain the same, as will the steering wheel. This is an area which needs a significant upgrade. Hope Force Motors takes that into account as well and does add some creature comforts.
