Not much is known about the launch date now, but we expect it to be released around mid-2019. The bike is likely to be exported to other markets and has the possibility of launching in India by mid-2019. Bajaj is already exporting the Pulsar NS 150 and other Pulsar, which are not sold in India. In terms of mileage, the Bajaj Dominar 200 it will be more efficient than the 400. However, it will be lesser than Pulsar RS 200. The Dominar’s body weight is more than the Pulsar and it is wider too. The higher torque will also affect fuel efficiency. So, in the city, it should return about 35km/land on the open road, the number will rise to about 40km/l. In mix conditions, you can expect an efficiency of about 37km/l.

The Bajaj Dominar 200 will share its engine with the Pulsar RS 200. The engine will have fuel injection but the power will be lesser than the 400. The performance will be tweaked to offer more torque at a lower rpm, as opposed to the RS 200. The power will be reduced and the torque will be increased. The tuning of the Dominar 200 will be different as compared to the RS 200. This is a cruiser, hence, the tuning of the engine will be done accordingly. The brakes and suspension will be the same on the Bajaj Dominar 200. Just that Bajaj will offer it with single channel ABS instead of dual. The Bajaj Dominar 200 shall be more affordable than most of the 200cc bikes. This will give it a price advantage. The same suspension means better ride and handling. The chassis can handle a lot more power and torque than the 200cc engine. The suspension will perform even better as the engine is smaller and lighter.
