Suzuki is back with a bang and is focusing on bikes, getting good bikes. The launches of the Gixxer 150 and 250 come as very important launches for the brand. The Japanese company has recently launched the Intruder 150, which is a cruiser bike. It has received a good response and now Suzuki may also look a higher power version, which will be the Intruder 250. This will add more flexibility and a good option for those looking for a powerful cruiser bike at an affordable price.
What all will the Suzuki Intruder 250 have? We try and find out.
The company will look at launching the Intruder 250 after they introduce the GSX250R (Gixxer). This will be somewhere at the end of 2018 or early 2019. It is difficult to estimate the exact time.

The Suzuki Intruder 150, is priced just under Rs 1 lakh (on-road) and this bike will come under Rs 2 lakhs (on-road). This will make it the only 250cc cruiser motorcycle. It will be an added option in the market for buyers.
The Intruder 250 will look very similar to the 150cc version. A headlamp with a cluster, fitted with projector LED light and tail lamps will also be LEDs. The front will be big with a lot fairing around.
The handlebars will be wide, cruiser like.
The instrument panel will be digital and will feature a twin exhaust as well. The seat will be large and comfortable for two people and it will even offer a good width too.

A twin-cylinder 249cc engine will be powering the Intruder 250. The engine will be borrowed front the Gixxer 250, but will get a few changes in its tuning. This will be making about 32bhp of power and close to 24Nm of maximum torque. It will come mated to a six-speed box. The engine will not be a high revving one, but with more linear power delivery and more bottom end torque. The mid-range will be made more strong as compared to the Gixxer. It will be a highly refined unit.

The mileage of this bike is expected to be around 30km/l. This bike will not be focussed on top end performance, bit more of rideability. This will improve its fuel efficiency as well.
The Intruder 250 should have a top speed around 140 km/h. However, it should be comfortable for highway cruising at around 100-120km/h.
