The new Hyundai Creta 2018 facelift has been launched at a starting price of ₹9.43 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi). The top variant costs  ₹15.03 lakhs. The facelift Creta once again is priced aggressively. Though it gets some new features, this time, the slight price hike justifies it. The Creta 2018 gets first in class features. It is also offers both in petrol and diesel and both version come in manual and automatic transmission. There is no other SUV in the segment to offer so many options.  The Creta is the second best selling SUV in the country after the Maruti Vitara Brezza and the highest selling in its segment. The New Hyundai Creta 2018 feels upmarket. The New Creta will be launched in May 2018. The launch and deliveries will commence by May. 2018 is a major year for Hyundai as there will be an all new vehicle from them that will be launched either with the Santro moniker or a new name in the Santro segment.

The interiors will be refreshed as well. There will be a new colour theme to make it look sportier. A new touchscreen will be a part of the vehicle. This will be an 8-inch one and will have a much improved interface. The centre console also will see a change in design for better practicality and look. The basic layout of the dashboard will not change.

There will be a new leather upholstery on the top variant. The other variants will receive a new set of seat fabrics. The seats will also get better cushioning and some added bolstering. The 2018 Hyundai SUV is already a feature loaded SUV and going further there would some more added elements to enhance its appeal.

The new additional features on offer shall be sunroof, then there will also be rain-sensing wipers, automatic headlamps, cruise control and even ventilated front seats mostly. These new features will make it, a much better product to consider for the Indian car market and this will make it an ideal pick for many car buyers too. At the moment, these additional offerings come on most of the compact (Mini) SUVs, which are cheaper and smaller than the Hyundai SUV. The 2018 Creta will see the same engines as the earlier version. The petrol versions will have a 1.6-litre, four-cylinder engine that will have a power of 121 bhp and a torque of 151 Nm. This will be mated to a 6-speed manual and also 6-speed automatic transmission. The new Hyundai Verna also uses the same transmissions.

The Hyundai Creta 2018 will come with two diesel engines which are 1.4-litre and 1.6-litre, same as now. The 1.4-litre has a maximum power of 89 bhp and a peak torque of 220 Nm. The larger 1.6-litre engine produces a power of 126 bhp and has a peak torque of 259 Nm. The 1.4-litre engine comes mated to a six-speed manual transmission only, whereas the 1.6-litre diesel is mated to a six-speed manual gearbox and also a six-speed automatic transmission.

There will be no change in the mileage figures of this SUV. As the engine and transmission remain the same, the fuel efficiency is not expected to change either. These figures are n real driving conditions and different from what the company claims. The 2018 Hyundai SUV has got a good balance of fuel economy and performance.
