Honda plans to get six new cars in 3 years
Honda Car India has plans to get six new vehicles into the Indian car market. The launches will commence from early next year. This will be the first of the launch for the company of the six it has announced. Honda has been aggressive with its Indian plans and there has been no denying that the brand is looking at adding more and more products into its fleet. We reckon following are the six new products that Honda will get into the Indian car market.
Honda Brio 2018
Engine | 1.2-litre petrol, 1.2-litre diesel |
Power | 88bhp/80bhp |

This will be the new-generation hatchback that will be making its way into production sometime by late 2018. Honda will be making the new Brio on a new platform. There will be revision in the styling. The Brio will have a lot more localised content this time. Honda will produce this new vehicle, and this will offer more space, bigger boot and even a lot more features. The instrument panel will look more premium than before and it will come loaded with features. At the moment, the Brio lacks these features and it will be introduced on the new-gen vehicle. There will be the 1.2-litre i-VTEC petrol engine on offer. This will come with a five-speed manual and CVT also. We aren’t certain if there will be a diesel engine on offer. If there will be one, it will be the three-cylinder 1.2-litre that will be derived from the new 1.6-litre i-DTEC that has recently started to be localised for the Indian market.
Honda Amaze 2018

Both will come with five-speed manual, the petrol will even have CVT on offer. Honda is enhancing its products and the new-gen Amaze could be a good option that will meld into the market.

The Honda Jazz facelift is another product in the works. It has already been revealed in other markets, but it will be coming into India also very soon. Honda is looking at adding more products in the Indian car market and even reviving its current options. The Jazz facelift will be an excellent option for them. This time, it might not get the Magic seats and rather have more features like new touchscreen system and even a sunroof.
Honda City 2020
Yes, this is the sixth product that is already in the works. Honda is serious about the Honda City the most and it has already started work on it. The City has been the best-seller for years and it will be the crucial product for the brand always.
Finally, something to surpass Metal Gear.
