One of the Tata Tiago owner in Pune met with an accident, which could have turned fatal. It was pouring cats and dogs, and the driver was heading with others in the Tiago. The name of the owner isn’t known yet. The Pune city has been notorious for its unmarked dividers. This happened on Monday when it was pouring in Pune. The accident took place at Bombay Sapers near vishrantwadi, for those who wanted to know more about Pune. This is next to main signal to towards Aalandi road. Of course seat belts were the survivor here.

Recently we had even reported of how a Tiago had hit a divider in Southern India. There was no impact to the Tiago’s cabin, however the passengers had died as they didn’t wear a seatbelt. Even the windshield didn’t crack.

TATA TIAGO FLIPS 2

Tata launched the Tiago in 2015 and since then there has been no looking back. This hatchback has been adding a few number of sales for the company throughout. Tata Motors today sells about 7,000 units on an average of this hatchback. In some months, it has been more than Maruti’s Celerio also. With focus on better better quality, plastic quality and improved reliability, it seems the brand has found the right direction.

The Tiago is available with a 1.2-litre petrol and 1.05-litre diesel engine. These are available with a five-speed manual. Recently, the petrol even got a five-speed AMT too. We had done an in-depth comparison of the Tata Tiago with the Hyundai Grand i10 and the Maruti Celerio, where it won clearly without any doubt. If you have missed out on our comparison, check out the video underneath.
