2017 Toyota Etios Cross Limited Edition – Spied!

The Toyota Etios Cross limited edition has been spied and will be launching soon. This limited edition is based on the G variant which has a 1.2-litre petrol engine. It gets certain cosmetic upgrades such as body coloured cladding with black front grille. It gets additional features like a touchscreen system and a reverse parking camera too. The Etios Cross has been quite a popular car  and this time Toyota wants to attract more buyers during the festive season.

The Toyota Etios Cross was launched in 2014. The body was similar to the Etios Liva but with much more body cladding. The Limited Edition variant is to attract more people to this car and capitalize on the festive season. There is no change in the mechanicals of the car

The Etios Cross limited edition will be launched by the end of September. This is perfect time to lure buyers during the festive season by offering additional equipment in some of the variants.

2017 Toyota Etios Cross Limited Edition Price

The limited edition is based on the G variant and is expected to cost around ₹ 8 lakhs, on-road, Delhi. There will be an increase of around ₹ 50000 over the regular G variant. this is due to the cosmetic changes and also addition of new features.

2017 Toyota Etios Cross Limited Edition Design 

The Toyota Etios Cross Limited Edition gets body coloured cladding all around.  It also gets a new colour. The front grille is painted in a contrasting black colour to make it look aggressive. The lights though remain the same. The scuff plates are also coloured in black. From the side the Toyota Etios Cross Limited Edition is the same except for the body coloured cladding. The indicators are on the mirrors and looks good. the multi spoke alloys adds a sporty feel with some sophistication, due to the premium looking body colour. The B-pillar is a blacked out one.

The rear too is the same. There is a spoiler at the rear. One can see the reverse camera unit mounted on the boot lid. Then there is the Etios Cross badging, again painted in black.  The tail lamps are clear and remain unchanged. The rear scuff plate is also black in colour.

The interiors see a change in the dashboard paint, which has a glossy finish that matched the exterior colour. The dash is still dual tone but looks more premium now with additional shine. The layout again is typical Etios one. The 3 spoke steering is the same but it does not have steering mounted controls as this is based on the G variant.  The speedometer and instrument cluster are in the centre of the dash as it has always been with the Toyota Etios Cross.

The seat fabric has a dual tone colour theme too. There is no automatic climate control here, but it gets a new touchscreen system. The seats are comfortable just like the regular Etios. The rear seating is spacious and the seats are long with good thigh support. Ther eis no change in the boot space which remains at 251 litres and has a opening to fit luggage in easily.
