TVS Jupiter Classic Edition launched at ₹ 60,000 (on-road)

TVS Motor Company has launched a new version of its popular scooter Jupiter. This is called the Jupiter Classic Edition. This new variant is priced at ₹ 60,000 (on-road, Delhi) is available at all TVS dealerships across the country. The new Jupiter Classic Edition variant also offers new colour options and and comes with some additional features such as chrome round shaped mirrors.

It shares everything else with the regular Jupiter, including the chassis, body and seat. It also carries the same engine and suspension setup of the Jupiter. This is an all-aluminium, low-friction 110cc engine th. The metal bodied, TVS Jupiter Classic is styled to have a substantial on road presence, which delivers good performance and comfort alongwith decent fuel efficiency.  The scooter has TVS patented Econometer, which indicates  riders in both ‘Eco Mode’ and ‘Power Mode’, thus extracting the best performance and fuel effeciency from this scooter. TVS Jupiter Classic Edition Specifications 

There is no change in the engine and specifications of the scooter. The engine and performance is lame as the earlier one. The TVS Jupiter Classic Edition is powered by a next generation 110cc engine that belts out 7.9bhp of  power @7500 rpm and 8Nm of torque@5500 rpm The engine comes mated to a CVT transmission. The Jupiter Classic Edition also comes with an Econometer, which is patented by TVS. This has an Eco Mode and Power Mode, One can derive better fuel economy when riding in Eco mode. The engine being the same unit is expected to be as smooth as refined as the regular Jupiter. It has good low end torque that makes city riding very convenient.

TVS Jupiter Classic Edition Mileage 

The mileage of the JupiterClassic Edition will be around  45 km/l in the city. On the highway it should return around 50 km/l. It has a 5 litre fuel tank capacity. One can easily extract a good mileage if ones rides within the eco mode. The on-board indicator of the ride modes assists in achieving a better economy.

TVS Jupiter Classic Edition Design

The Design of the TVS Jupiter Classic Edition is same as the regular Jupiter. As far as design, body and seats ar concerned, it is identical. However, there are some styling changes that have been done to the Jupiter to make it look more attractive. TVS have gone the retro way in terms of styling, as the name itself suggests it to be classic. It gets new round shaped full chrome mirrors that give it a retro look. It also gets a stylish windshield that adds some glamour to the Jupiter. The seat in brown and beg two tone colour looks appealing and attractive too.

The scooter comes in Sunlit Ivory shade. It also gets submittal chrome treatment. There are classic looking decals that enhance the appeal of this scooter. The TVS Jupiter Classic Edition also gets a  backrest which is in chrome. Safety wise it gets front disc brakes for assured braking and there is also a smart USB charger available of this scooter.  Apart from this, the rest of the scooter is same as the regular Jupiter, The Classic styling ads some new flavour to the Jupiter for sure.
