Last year the Gixxer SF was introduced with rear disc brake and now the company is ready to launch the Suzuki Gixxer SF ABS, which will be getting anti-lock brakes. Gixxer fans have been waiting for an ABS version and it seems that the wait will be over soon.

The Suzuki Gixxer SF ABS will be based on the fuel injection variant of the bike and is expected to be launched this month. The price of this bike is expected to go dearer by around ₹ 4000 on road. New Suzuki Gixxer SF ABS Changes

The Suzuki Gixxer SF ABS will be identical to the earlier bike. There will not be any change in the bike except for the addition of ABS. Ths bike will will have a 155cc engine that churns out 14bhp of power and it has a torque of 14Nm. The Suzuki Gixxer SF ABS variant will be offered only with the fuel-injection engine. This comes is paired with a five-speed transmission.

The design of the bike will be as it is and there will be no change here as well. A new colir scheme will be seen on this bike though. Another differentiating factor on this bike will be the introduction of graphics on the front mudguard, which reads ABS. Apart form these, there won’t be any other change on the Gixxer SF ABS. And of course, it will be priced higher.

While the bike sees an introduction of ABS, the price will certainly be higher. The price increase will be in the range of ₹ 4000 approximately. Hence the bike will cost around ₹ 1.02 lakhs, on-road. This is an expected price, and the actual price will be shared once the company announces it. The fuel injection version of the Suzuki Gixxer SF costs around ₹ 4500 over the carbureted version.

The engine of the Suzuki Gixxer SF will remain the same and there will no change absolutely. The ABS version will be available only with the fuel injection engine. This is a 155cc single-cylinder engine and produces 14bhp of power and 14Nm of peak torque. This engine comes mated to a five-speed transmission. There is only a self start button available to fire up the engine and there is no kick starter.
