New TVS Scooty teased

A new TVS Scooty has just been teased by the company. This could be a new scooter or it be the new hybrid that has been in talks. But the teaser image shared resembles the new Scooty Zest.So, it could either be a new colour option or maybe some new limited edition model. Or maybe a facelift version of this scooty?

So, we aren’t certain what is coming up. TVS had recently upgraded the Scooty Zest 110 with some add-on features and at the same time even BS-IV engine. 

The new features are the AHO, which has been made compulsory and to make it more appealing, this one has LEDs. The DRLs are LEDs, and this is the only 110cc scooter that is at the moment offering this.  TVS had last year introduced the Jupiter’s limited edition model and this time it could be for this new scooty.

The TVS Scooty Zest 110 is offered with a 109.7cc engine that churns about 8bhp of power and a maximum torque of 8.7Nm. This comes mated to a V-matic transmission.

Maybe this time around it could be offered with Sync braking. The two wheeler segment’s major sales driver have been the scooters and we reckon TVS will be aiming at enhancing its scooter sales and getting more from this growing scooter market.

The TVS Scooty Zest 100 has a five-litre fuel tank and the company claims it should return about 62km/l. The price of this scooter is highly competitive as it is priced at INR 53,450 (on-road, New Delhi), making it a lot cheaper than most of the other existing scooters. TVS had mentioned it will be launching a new scooter in the coming few months, and maybe this could be the one. We aren’t certain on what will be on offer, and it is now a game of wait and watch.
