2017 Kawasaki Z1000 Design

The basic design of the 2017 Kawasaki Z1000 remains the same as the earlier model. The sculpted body resembles a crouching predator and is a sugomi inspired Z design. The front headlight console is set low giving it a crouching look. It has a twin set of LED lamps in it, resembling the eyes. The indicators are stalk type, situated on either side below the headlamps. There is a special ‘Z’ ignition key and machined aluminum steering stem bolt.

The Z1000 is a mean looking bike and its stance is intimidating. Being a litre class bike, it is still quite compact and hence maneuverable too. The R Edition comes with a special paint scheme. It has vivid accents of yellow and green. The seat has a ‘Z’ logo embossed on it. These elements make the bike look striking.

The powerband is spread out very well and there is ample power available at all times. The growl from the exhaust is one that can’t go unnoticed. The 2017 Kawasaki Z1000 R edition gets braking components from the Ninja H2R. This further improves braking efficiency and takes it to another level.
