As Maruti Suzuki is moving to the new-generation of the DZire, it is also converting the current DZire into DZire Tour. So, this is the new Maruti DZire Tour and it has just been launched. Based on the second-generation DZire is the new DZire Tour.

New Maruti DZire Tour Design

The new Tour has the same design like the current DZire. So, now it is a new shape and it looks out of proportion just like the DZire. This is good for the taxi segment as the price should see a further drop.

The new DZire Tour will get the same shape like the DZire (2012-2017) and there will be all basic features on it. To begin with, there is a no chrome on this version. It is plan with black bits. No alloy wheels, only 13-inch steel wheels. It gets black door handles, black door mirrors, black front grille on offer.

New Maruti DZire Tour Interiors

On the inside, there isn’t much on offer. The new commercial version of the DZire, doesn’t get most of the bells and whistles. There is a 12V socket, power steering, no power windows, no music system and there is AC with manual controls. These are the only features on offer. There is ABS or airbags on offer. The DZire Tour gets minimal features as has been designed for commuting people at a basic price.

The space is good enough for five people to sit, though it shall be a tad tight for people who are broader.

The boot is small and can fit a CNG tank for the petrol engine. Else, there isn’t much on offer in terms of space. For diesel engines there will be some boot space.

New Maruti DZire Tour Engine and Transmission

A 1.2-litre petrol (with and without CNG) and a 1.3-litre diesel engines are on offer. Both the engines have a five-speed manual transmission. These made engines have good power and even are highly fuel-efficient too. Depending on the fuel type, both engines are excellent. This makes them a good value for money package.

New Maruti DZire Tour Mileage

In terms of mileage, the petrol should have an efficiency of about 12km/l in the city and about 16km/l on the highway. The diesel on the other hand has 18km/l in the city and close to 22km/l on the highway. The CNG should be about 18km/kg.
