Fiat Punto Evo Pure has been launched

Fiat Punto Evo Pure has been launched. This version has been priced at INR 6.03 lakhs (on-road, Mumbai). The Punto Evo was launched back in 2014 and the Punto Pure was launched a few months following it. The Punto pure was based on the old Punto and this version had minimal features on offer. The new Fiat Punto Evo Pure follows the same concept, except that the design has been changed and the company is offering similar features once again. Fiat Punto Evo Pure Engine and Transmission

At the moment, the Fiat Punto Evo Pure only gets a 1.2-litre petrol engine, which churns about 67bhp of power and about 96Nm of maximum torque. What this hatchback offers with it, is a five-speed manual transmission. This engine is still available on the Punto Evo as well. The power delivery is linear and this engine is the entry-point to the Fiat’s Punto Evo family. The power in this engine is moderate and it is good enough for daily driving. On the highway, one has to redline the engine to extract maximum performance. Overtaking is a bit of work on the highways. The engine has decent levels of NVH but other petrol engines are more refined. For a 1.2-litre engine, the power it produces is very less.

Fiat Punto Evo Pure Features

In terms of features, the Punto Evo still gets features like power steering, front power windows, digital clock, digital odometer, digital trip meter and other driver information bits like Distance to Empty Indicator. There is no music system, no steering mounted audio controls, so no Bluetooth connection either.

The features on offer are basic and nothing special about them.

Fiat Punto Evo Pure Warranty

Fiat India is still offering a three-year warranty on the Punto Evo Pure. As the hatchback has a 15,000km service interval, this is certainly an exciting product to own. It is trouble free and definitely a great buying option as not much service is needed for it.

It is now time for the brand to update the products and replace it with a new-generation, as the competition has been changing its products every five years and the Punto itself in India is about eight years old.
