EXCLUSIVE: Toyota Innova Touring Sport manual gets 6-speed manual

The Toyota Innova Sport Touring gets an update. The changes aren’t cosmetic, but even mechanical also. This is a major change and will help Toyota to add more buyers to the Touring Sport fleet. The automatic variant gets LED fog lamp and there will be idle start stop feature that shall be added on to it.

This will enhance the mileage of this MUV. The VX manual varaint gets a few more extra features. There is a change in transmission from 5-speed to 6-speed. This variant also gets idle start and stop, there is also intelligent Manual Transmission (added from Fortuner), Vehicle Stability Control, Traction Control and even Hill assist control. There will even be audio with navigation in this variant. The Innova Crysta is made available with three engine options and all the three shall be made available with all the engines. There are multiple changes on the Innova Touring Sport, in terms of additional features, and all the changes are only cosmetic. So, what does the new Toyota Innova Touring Sport have on offer? Toyota Innova Touring Sport Colours

There shall be only two colours on offer on the Toyota Innova Touring Sport. There will be the White, which is called as the Super White and the second one is a new colour called as Wildfire Red.

Toyota Innova Touring Sport Price in India

There isn’t a major change in the pricing of the Touring Sport. The Toyota Innova Touring Sport is an exciting product and it is more of cosmetic changes. There be any change in the pricing of the new model. But this will helpToyota to distinguish the car from the regular Crysta, at least for the manual variant.

Toyota Innova Touring Sport Exterior

On the outside, the Toyota Innova Touring Sport will some changes on the outside. There are additional chrome and black elements on the body that forms the cladding. The mirrors gets chrome like the previous-generation Innova. There is also a side cladding. Then the alloy wheels are now black on the Innova Touring Sport. Toyota seems to have discontinued the 17-inch wheels, after a feedback from their buyers for tyre damage. These are the only changes on the Innova Crysta.

Toyota Innova Touring Sport Interior

On the inside, there are no changes. The Touring Sport variant will get the same interiors and features like the ZX trim. So, there will be push start and stop, touchscreen system with reverse camera, leather seats, rear top AC vents, multiple airbags and ABS. This one will be offered only with six-seater option and there won’t be a seven-seater option. There will be some more added Touring bits, like floor mats. These will help to differentiate it from the regular version. There shall be black interiors with leather upholstery.

Toyota Innova Touring Sport Engine and Transmission

There will be a 2.7-litre petrol engine that will be offered with a five-speed manual and six-speed automatic, while there will be a 2.4-litre diesel with six-speed manual and 2.8-litre diesel with a six-speed automatic on offer. All these engines will even be offered on the Touring Sport version. There shall be no change in the engine tuning or any other aspects.
