The Honda CB Shine has been the best selling 125cc bike in the country. Honda has soled 50 lakh units of the CB shine worldwide and has launched the New Honda CB Shine 2017 as a celebration. The New Honda CB Shine 2017 does not see any change in pricing either. It starts at INR 61,111 (on-road) and goes upto INR 67,953 (on-road), for the CBS with disc brake version.

New Honda CB Shine 2017 Design

The New Honda CB Shine 2017 is a smart looking bike. The design is same as the earlier model but now looks better due to some new styling cues. There is no change as compared to the earlier Honda CB Shine. However, the New Honda CB Shine 2017 looks more premium and it gets a new 3D Honda logo on the tank. It gets a chrome exhaust cover and also carburetor cover. There are two new paint shades also introduced. These are Athletic Blue Metallic and Imperial Red Metallic. The New Honda CB Shine 2017 now comes with all time headlamp on (AHO) function. This will be mandatory for all bikes once the new safety norms come in.

New Honda CB Shine 2017 Engine

The same engine continues to power the New Honda CB Shine 2017. This is a 125cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine that powers the current CB Shine. The engine is a refined unit with decent performance, making 10.6bhp of power and 10.3Nm of peak torque. This engine is mated to a four-speed gearbox. The only addition now is that this is a BS-IV complaint engine.

New Honda CB Shine 2017 Mileage

The fuel economy of the New Honda CB Shine 2017  is 65 km/l, as claimed by the company. In real world conditions, it should  around 50km/l in the city and around 60 km/l on highway. This is a fuel efficient bike.
