The new 2017 KTM RC 390 has been launched at INR 2.47 Lakhs (on-road, New Delhi). The bike gets refreshed for the year 2017. 2017 KTM RC 390 Engine

The 2017 KTM RC 390 comes with the same 373cc engine. This engine churns out 43bhp of power and 34Nm of peak torque. There is no change in the engine. Hence, it has the same performance. There is no change in the engine tuning either. So, all those who need the KTM for its push shall be looking at buying the same bike. The throttle response of this engine is a lot more smoother than the Dukes. This has linear acceleration, which makes it more easier to ride in daily city traffic. The 2017 KTM RC 390 has a six-speed gearbox.

There is also a slipper clutch. The other important aspect is the Ride by Wire. This makes the throttle response even better. The 2017 KTM RC 390 doesn’t have any changes in its mechanicals and even the underpinnings.

An adjustable lever for suspension will help to enhance the performance and at the same time, this will be useful not just to improve the ride and handling also. A new side slung exhaust also makes way in the 2017 RC 390.
