Hyundai Grand i10 Prime Specifications
|Transmission||5-speed manual/ 4-speed AT||5-speed manual|
The Hyundai Grand i10 Prime will be coming with a 1.2-litre petrol engine. This shall be offered with a five-speed and four-speed automatic transmission. This engine will produce 81bhp of power and about 112Nm of peak torque. The second engine on offer is a diesel. Now, there has been the 1.1-litre diesel that has been working the Grand i10. But we reckon this time, Hyundai could upgrade the engine. A 1.2-litre diesel engine could make its way into production. Hyundai has been testing a new 1.2-litre TCI engine and our sources have confirmed that. What we aren’t certain about is if it will be coming to India as well. The Grand i10 has been tested with this new engine. This has been derived from the 1.6-litre diesel engine and is a three-cylinder version. This will produce about 85-90bhp of power.
