TVS NTorq 125 gets new Blue and Grey colours

There are two new colours that have been launched in the Ntorq 125 by TVS. These are Metallic Blue and Metallic Grey. These two colors are in addition to the existing Matte Yellow, Matte White, Matte Green and Matte Red. TVS EnTorq 125 is priced at Rs.58,700 (ex-showroom, New Delhi). Targeted towards the youth, this new scooter come with class leading features. This scooter is based on the Graphite concept, showcased at the 2016 Auto Expo. The production version is out as the Ntorq 125.

The new EnTorq 125 is the company’s 125cc scooter. The scooter has caught on pretty well in the market and is being sold across the country. The design is all new, the features offered are additional and even enhancement in technology. If you recall the Entorq, it has been named on the same one. The Graphite was showcased with an AMT, but the EnTorq doesn’t get that.

In terms of styling it looks quite dazzling. The all new TVS EnTorq 125 gets a front end that has been derived from the Graphite. It has daytime running LED and 12-inch wheels too. It is easily one o f the most stylish scooters around. The tyres are thicker. The rear is stylish and it gets T shaped LEDs on the tail lamp. There are many bits that have been focused on with detail. The TVS EnTorq 125 gets a 125cc engine that churns about 9bhp of power and comes with CVTi-REVV transmission. This engine churns about 9 bhp of power and it has a top speed of 95km/hr.

The pricing of this scooter seems to be justified. It gets all the bells and whistles one is looking for in a 125cc scooter with the best in class performance too. In fact, it is a very well-priced product.

TVS EnTorq 125 Mileage

The mileage this scooter gives is between 35-40km/l. Under hard acceleration, the efficiency drops to 30km/l as well.

TVS EnTorq 125 Engine

A 125cc engine powers the EnTorq. This churns out a power of  9bhp. This is a new engine. At the moment, TVS doesn’t have any other 125cc scooter. The company has introduced this engine not just for India but in other markets also. TVS EnTorq 125 gets a CVTi-REVV with it. The highlights of the scooter is the fuel tank capacity that will be closer to 5 litres. The bike has a top speed of 95 km/hr.

TVS Entorq 125 Design

TVS EnTorq 125 comes with a new fascia. This looks a lot more stylish than the Graphite on which it was based on. The EnTorq comes with a conventional headlamp, not on the handle though. It has an integrated daytime running LED in it. The other important aspect in the styling is the appealing side profile. The side is dominated with dual tone colour shade. The tyre size is 12-inch and it has diamond cut alloy wheels. The petal disc brake is also a new bit added on this scooter. Also, the new EnTorq 125 even has LED tail lamps. This also looks appealing and it is stylish too. Some might not like the front of the EnTorq but the side and rear do look cool.

TVS EnTorq 125 Features

The TVS EnTorq is the first scooter with bluetooth connectivity. When the phone is paired, it shows who has messaged or called, shows navigation and even battery indicator. The other important bit on the EnTorq 125 is its new app. This app helps to locate the scooter, if you do not remember where you have parked it. The other important bit is that the NTorq 125 gets mobile charging and even a light. It also gets the fuel cap outside. The scooter isn’t a fully metal one like the Honda Activa 4G.

TVS EnTorq 125 Competition

The major competition scooters to the TVS EnTorq 125 will be the Honda Grazia and the Honda Activa 125. There is also the Suzuki Access 125. The other competing scooter is the Aprilia 125cc scooter.

TVS EnTorq 125 Specifications

This is an new engine that TVS claims to be the fastest. This scooter can do 0-60km/hr in 9 seconds. The new TVS EnTorq is powerful and the engine has 3 valves. The tyres are also comparatively meaty. The front ones are 100/80 12 and the rear gets 110/80 12. The TVS EnTorq 125 comes with telescopic suspension at the front. This makes it a lot more comfortable for the front passengers. The ride is a bit harsh at low speeds and a the handling is good. It is quite comfortable to ride for long hours as well. The seat gets good cushioning.
