Vespa 946 Emporio Armani launched for INR 13.4 lakhs

The Vespa 946 Emporio Armani will be launched in India for INR 13.4 lakhs (on-road, Pune). Piaggio is on a roll and is launching new models under the Vespa brand. Recently it also launched the Aprilia SR150 scooter at a stunning price . However, this will be the most expensive scooter in India, ever. Vespa 946 Emporio Armani Design

The Vespa 946 Emporio Armani is an exquisite piece of art. It seems to come straight out of a Richie Rich comic! The style is completely retro and exudes beauty and class from every angle. It is based on the 1940’s era, during the time of the World War II.  This scooter will come in a dark shade of matte grey colour, called the Armani Grey. It has a slight tinge  green that shows only under specific lighting conditions. The entire scooter is painted in Armani Grey and it goes well with the retro styling of the Vespa 946, further enhancing its appeal. The Vespa 946 Emporio Armani has a 155cc 4-stroke 3V engine with electronic fuel injection. The engine produces 11.5bhp of power @ 8250rpm and 11.5Nm of torque at 7000rpm. It gets 220 mm disc brakes that work well on the 12-inch wheels. This is not a performance scooter but is a lifestyle two-wheeler. It is meant to make a style statement for those who indulge in a lot of luxury.

Vespa 946 Emporio Armani Features

The body components of the Vespa 946 Emporio Armani are made of aluminum. The scooter gets front and rear disc brakes. It also has a state-of-the-art electronics suite that includes ABS, ASR traction control system and also web connectivity. It will feature LED headlamp and taillamp along with LED turn indicators. The instrument cluster is a LCD screen which is fully digital. It is neatly embedded in the handlebar console. The grips are leather wrapped which are hand-stitched and the seat is also a leather one. This scooter gets a single seat only. There is a utility hook below the seat. It also gets a carrier at the rear which resembles scooter designs of the 1940’s.

The Vespa 946 Emporio Armani will be available in only one colour. This is the Armani Grey, which is a dark shade of grey colour.  The colour will be in matte finish. It will get Tan colour leather seats and handle grips , that compliment the overall colour scheme.
