Tork T6X got 1,000 bookings in 1 day

Tork T6X is the latest offering and the new electric bike that is likely to revolutionise the market. Launched on 30th September, the bike has already got more than 1000 bikes under its belt in a day’s time. This is fantastic for a new bike maker and that too electric. So, what is so special about this bike? This isn’t the first electric bike from the company. So what is so special about? is it worth considering? Why are so many buyers looking to purchase it? Tork T6X Price

An all new bike from Tork, has been priced at INR 1.25 lakhs (on-road, New Delhi). As there are no road taxes in New Delhi for electric vehicles, the price for ex-showroom will also be the same. The bike will be made available in some metro cities.

As this is all bike and it does look aggressive. The Tork T6X has a stylish and aggressive design. The headlamps have daytime running lamps, digital TFT, mobile charging and anti-theft as well. This is a smart bike as it offering Geo-fencing, on-board navigation, quick charge and then there is even mobile app support as well. There is space for storage of helmet as well. The company has nailed it in terms of design as the bike does look stylish and appealing. Where the bike shines is the design and it looks just like any other petrol powered bike. The design is aggressive and the bike will have road presence.

Tork Motorcycles – The Company

The company already has Tork TX0 01, TX0 02, TX0 03, TX0 04 and TX0 05 bikes on sale. The company is a start-up and it has new set-up, which is a plant in Chakan. About 500 units will be made from their current Pune facility. After this, all will be made in Chakan. They plan to add 100 charging stations in Delhi, Bengaluru and Pune in the first phase. The second phase will be Mumbai and Hyderabad. At the moment, they have an annual production capacity of 50,000 units.

Tork T6X Engine / Motor

This bike comes with a 6kW (8 bhp) electric motor. There are more than sufficient Li-ion batteries. In terms of range, it gets about 100 km range with a top speed of 100 km/hr. This is good for a bike of this size. The electric motor has a flat torque of 27Nm. As this electric, it has zero emissions. The company claims that this bike has performance equivalent to that of 125cc bike.

Tork T6X Charging Time

This electric bike needs a 15A socket for charging. It charges about 80% of the battery in an hour and for complete charge it needs about 2 hours. This is a good indication. With so less time needed to charge, one can that this bike for daily use. This will be convenient, especially in metros. This won’t just help to reduce pollution but even improve mobility. Electric cars need more time to charge the battery. This will be much faster.

Tork T6X Colours

The bike will be offered in three colour options. So far only black and white have been decided. The third colour hasn’t been finalised yet.

The process to book the bike is simple. You need to log-on to the Tork website and Pre-Book the bike. The company will get in touch with you. Give you a test ride and then take the deposit. This will simplify the process and even the buyer will have confidence in the product.
