The Indian bike maker is looking at introducing this bike sometime in November. Bajaj will be introducing this bike after the festive season. The company wants to deliver the Diwali orders to its customers and not have any delays for them. Kratos is the Greek God of Strength and Authority. This is where the name has been derived from. This will be an all new brand and it will be categorised under leisure biking.

Bajaj Kratos VS400 Design

Aggressive styling, sporty looks makes this bike look amazing. This bike is one of the most sporty looking Bajaj bike. It is much bigger and wider than the Pulsar family. The large front headlamp looks stylish and this makes it a strong case for itself. This is one of the most stylish looking bikes in its segment. There is a blacked out headlamp. The alloy wheels look uber cool. Bajaj Kratos VS400 has a big size fuel tank that makes it look macho. In terms of equipment, it will have a perimeter frame. There will be large digital display instrument cluster.

Bajaj Kratos VS400 Engine

Bajaj will be offering the Kratos VS400 with a 373cc single-cylinder engine. We reckon this will be offered with two variants, one will be carbureted and other fuel injection. The former will produce 34bhp of power and the latter with 43bhp. Bajaj will be offering dual channel ABS and slipper clutch on the latter model. At the moment, it is a bit to early to close on some of the aspects of this bike, but the transmission will be a six-speed one.

Bajaj Kratos VS400 Mileage

Expect a fuel-efficiency of about 30 km/l to 35 km/l on this new bike. This will be BS-IV compliant engine and hence there will be some reduction in the efficiency too. Buyers looking at a 400cc bike might not consider fuel-efficiency as the most important aspect.

Bajaj Kratos VS400 Competition

Bajaj is looking at enhancing its reach with this new bike. It will not be competing with the KTM Duke 390, instead it will go against the Royal Enfields. The company wants to get into leisure biking with this new model.

This will diversify the brand into an altogether new segment. With this, it will even look at targeting some other bikes like the Mahindra Mojo and the Benelli TNT300. Now, these aren’t class leading but Bajaj will have an upper hand on them.

Bajaj Kratos VS400 Colours

The new Bajaj Kratos will be launched in black and mostly red and even white colour options. As the company has planned to introduce it in the leisure segment, we doubt if any funky colours will be introduced. Bajaj Kratos VS400 will be an all new brand for the company.
