That’s right! The Skoda Slavia facelift is all set to arrive on August 18, possibly with a few design updates, new features and tech. The Czech carmaker updated the Kushaq with a revamped design along with new features. So, what exactly do we expect to see on the Slavia facelift? Here’s a look.

What To Expect?

The Slavia facelift has been spotted multiple times, but it’s heavily camouflaged, revealing little to no detail. With the facelift, we expect Skoda to offer a revised front-end design, similar to the one we saw on the Kushaq facelift. This includes an all-new grille, connected LED DRLs, “SKODA” lettering on the grille, a revised front bumper, and much more. On the sides, we can expect new alloy wheels, while the rest of the side profile may remain similar to what we have now. At the rear, we could get a new taillight design, with lit “SKODA” lettering forming a connected LED taillamp and a revised rear bumper. That said, the Skoda Slavia is already a handsome-looking car. With the facelift, we expect to see a more attractive design.

Skoda Slavia Facelift Launch: What Else?

Along with the facelift, we expect to see the addition of features similar to the Kushaq facelift. Expected updates include revised upholstery, rear seat massage, front parking sensors, and a 10.25-inch instrument cluster, among others. On the powertrain front, the Slavia will continue with the same engine options: a 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine (114 bhp & 178 Nm) and a 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine (148 bhp & 250 Nm). However, much like the Kushaq facelift, the 1.0-litre unit will most likely get the new eight-speed torque converter, replacing the existing six-speed unit. Skoda could price the Slavia facelift between Rs. 12 lakh and Rs. 22.50 lakh (on-road, Mumbai).
