New Maruti MPV Coming – What’s New?

Suzuki has confirmed that it will showcase the updated XL7 at the GIIAS 2026. The same model is on sale in India as the XL6 and will receive updates based on the new XL7. Regarding the changes, the images showcase redesigned headlamps and tail lamps, new fog-lamp inserts, a new set of alloys, and more. One key change that is observed is the inclusion of a new grille. The images just showcase the model’s exterior design; however, what’s inside is still under wraps.
This update being a mid-life one, we don’t expect any radical changes on the inside, but a few additions to the equipment list. This includes bigger infotainment screens, an improved HUD and a 360-degree camera package. The Indian-spec model might also see the addition of an ADAS feature, but that would push the final cost of this 6-seater up a bit.

Powertrains

The India-spec XL6 is expected to continue with the 1.5-litre NA petrol engine, paired with either a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed AT. Now, another interesting change the XL6 could see is the addition of an underbody CNG kit, like the one on the Victoris.
